Ok I see there’s a stagger bar and a normal health bar. HK only has stagger for bosses.
Most of the time you kill an enemy before you can stagger them. What’s even the point?

Nice that it gets harder after. kinda makes you think about when you wanna stagger and stuff
“HK only has stagger for bosses” Ender lilies > Pre-tutorial boss. Ok this is partially true but also the stagger bar in EL actually regenerates when you don’t attack. This is actually seems really good cause it incentivises you to get attacks in in between boss attacks. Like to bring the stagger counter down faster I had to attack Gerrod while he was doing his slams and stuff. If you don’t do this, well you can play it safe but now you do damage even slower, giving more time for the boss to wack you too. I think so far the stagger counter is good for bosses, but doesn’t seem necessary on simple enemies

There is no reason for this game to have a levelling system
I feel like unlocking a skill should let me go to multiple different areas but right now after completing top path the only thing I can do after is bottom path :/ more pathing stuff in EL Pathing
Interesting to not that early game you can just equip all the relics cause you have enough slots. Don’t have to think about it. I think a boss fight on bottom path is coming

This fight was fun! I enjoyed learning it. I didn’t get too good at the second phase but I really enjoyed getting better at the parry mechanics.
I wanted to use heavy attacks at first but the hit windows weren’t big enough sadly
